Privacy.

The short version

We collect what we need to run a booking and nothing more. We do not sell personal information. We do not create accounts, and we do not track you across other websites for advertising.

What we collect

When you book a studio or register for a course

Your name, email address, and phone number, together with the details of the booking itself — the room, the dates, any equipment, and any notes you add. If you join a course waitlist we keep the same contact details so we can reach you if a place opens.

When you contact us

Your name, email address, optional phone number, and the content of your message.

Payment information

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages. We receive only a payment reference, the amount, and whether it succeeded.

Automatically

Standard server logs, and aggregate analytics about which pages are visited. These do not identify you personally.

Why we collect it

• To hold your dates or your seat, and to take payment for them.
• To send you a confirmation, a receipt, and a link to manage your booking.
• To contact you about a booking — a change, a problem, or a waitlist place.
• To keep records of transactions, as any business must.
• To understand which parts of the site are used, in aggregate.

We do not send marketing email. If that ever changes, it will be something you opt into rather than out of.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site:

• Stripe — payment processing. Receives your name, email, and the amount charged, and handles your card details directly.
• Resend — transactional email. Receives your email address and the contents of the message we send you.
• Supabase — the database where bookings and registrations are stored.
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly aggregate analytics.
• Google Analytics — aggregate site analytics.

Each of these processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Booking and registration records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes. Contact-form enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Waitlist entries are removed once the course has run or you leave the list.

Cookies

The site uses cookies for analytics. There are no advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention.

Your rights

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to correct it. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing to opt out of.

To exercise any of these, email hello@sevenfilmstudios.com. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
